A website is operating at 'traceeuropa.com' and falsely claiming to be associated with a law firm.

What is the scam?

The SRA has been informed that a website is operating and presenting itself as being associated with a law firm. The website address is 'traceeuropa.com'.

This website provides the address and SRA ID number of a genuine firm of solicitors (see below).

Any business or transaction through the website 'traceeuropa.com' is not undertaken by a firm or individual authorised and regulated by the SRA.

Is there a genuine firm or person?

The SRA authorises and regulates a genuine firm of solicitors by the name of TLW Solicitors Limited (SRA number 823682). The genuine firm website is www.tlwsolicitors.co.uk and its address is Third floor, CAI Building, Coble Dene, North Shields, NE29 6DE, England.

The genuine firm TLW Solicitors Limited has confirmed they have no connection to the website referred to in the alert above.
