April 2025 SQE2 results published

Candidates continue to perform well at SQE2. Results show an 84% pass rate among first-time candidates and an overall pass rate of 82% across all 2,753 candidates. More candidates sat SQE2 in April 2025 than before – up 21% on 2024.

This sitting marked the second use of scaled scoring for SQE2 to present results aligning it with SQE1. Candidates now receive a score out of 500, with a scaled pass mark of 300. This makes it easy to compare results across sittings. Read more about scaled scoring for SQE2.
