What is the scam?
The website 'www.empiresolicitors.net' is operating, claiming to offer legal services as 'Empire Consultancy & Solution Limited'. The website seen by the SRA provides the telephone number '+44 0788 7223887', an email address of 'consultation@empiresolicitors.net' and the postal address '301 Jhumat House, 160 London Road, Barking, IG11 8BB'.
The website claims to offer various legal services and lists one non-practising solicitor and two practising solicitors on its website (see below).
Any business or transaction through the website 'www.empiresolicitors.net' or the above contact details are not undertaken by a firm or individual authorised and regulated by the SRA.
Is there a genuine firm or person?
The SRA regulates a non-practising solicitor called Mark David Adams. Mark David Adams has advised that he has no connection to the website referred to in the above alert.
The SRA also authorises and regulates two solicitors called Andrew Abernethy and Mark Abrams. Both solicitors have confirmed that they have no connection to the website referred to in the above alert.
